date changing of existing file when rename copied file

Not fixed.
When overwriting "Plugins\wcx\Total7zip\7z.dll", locked by loaded plugin.
File is not overwritten, but date has changed.

Sorry, the new instruction:
1. Install Total7zip plugin
2. Download two different versions of 7zip file with your Web browser, e.g.
https://deac-ams.dl.sourceforge.net/project/sevenzip/7-Zip/22.01/7z2201.exe
https://deac-fra.dl.sourceforge.net/project/sevenzip/7-Zip/21.07/7z2107.exe
3. Check with Files - "Calculate occupied space" that it has a zone identifier
4. Open the first 7zip with enter Ctrl+PgDn and extract two files - 7z.dll and 7z.exe with F5
5. Open the second 7zip and extract the SAME files with F5, and for the first, click "skip", and for the second, click "overwrite"
6. Check that first file was not overwritten, but has new date.

Not confirmed following the new instructions.
The files have Zone identifiers.
7z.dll still has the date from the first archive.

Where did you install the plugin? Was it under c:\totalcmd or c:\Program Files\totalcmd, or anywhere else?

So no date change of 7z.dll when I choose to skip it.

of course not.
i don't know, could zip unpack 7z or not, but in the instruction stated that this is with Total7zip plugin.

You are right - the two exe-files are packed with 7zip, so it should usually be TC's internal 7zip-unpacker that should do the unpacking.

Make sure you have the files TC7Z.DLL and TC7ZIPIF.DLL (32bit TC) or the file TC7Z64.DLL (64bit TC) in your TC program directory.

Also please try with a clean ini file (start TC with the parameter /i=%TEMP%\clean.ini)

I'm using Total7zip plugin, and you talking about internal TC7z.DLL and clean ini file (without Total7zip plugin).

Problem is not fixed.
Problem is not in Total7zip , but in TC with Total7zip plugin.

If the problem is in Total7zip, you will have to contact the author of Total7zip.
