Switching between or back to an open WebDAV session.

Post by *funkymonk »

I am not sure if this is a bug or a missing feature:

Once one or more FTP sessions are open, an FTP section (transfer mode, disconnect, etc.) appears just below the menu bar, and the drive drop-down list allows switching between local drives and open FTP sessions. So far, so good.

However, this is not possible with WebDAV sessions (using the official plugin from https://www.ghisler.com/dplugins.htm):
With an active WebDAV session, if you switch to a local drive, you can't switch back to the session.

Is this a bug, a missing feature, or did I just miss something?

You can switch back to the WebDAV session by going back to where you started it, i.e. network neighborhood, or by going back in TC's history via Alt+Down or Alt+Left. The same applies to other file-system plugins, with some exceptions like the SFTP plugin which show the same bar as FTP connections (which contains the Disconnect button and so on).

Well, true. That's an obvious but inconvenient option.

Yes, that's indeed an option. Though the history might contain various sessions (even closed ones) and other stuff that will lead to more or less intense searching. But fine. Thank you ...

@ghisler Would it be possible to add such sessions to the drive list as for FTP sessions?
