I often like to mark select an image in thumbnail view so that I can see the file size in the bottom status bar.
However, this requires that I left-click the image once and then Ctrl+left-click it to mark it so that the file size shows.
I know you can left-click on the left border of the thumbnail image to mark it (but it's a bit hard to click consistently) and that there's an alternate mouse selection mode in the Operation section of the configs that lets you use right-click to mark files (but then you lose the ability to instantly right-click files).
So I was wondering if there's a way to mark a thumbnail by left-clicking it once anywhere.

Its much simpler by using the Thumbnails option "Show custom fields below thumbnails"
Add the Size field and you don't need any click or selection to see the size.
