Strange behaviour when opening a file.

Post by *panos78 »

Hallo.
I have a PDF file in a subfolder of a shared folder of a local server.
The full path of it is about 275 characters long.
When I try to open the file from Windows Explorer, it opens with no problem.
The same file, when I try to open it from Total Commander, a window comes up asking me to select the application I want to use in order to open the file.
I select Acrobat, Acrobat opens and I get the message in Acrobat "There was an error opening the document. Access denied".
Any idea why this is happening?

panos78,
There was this problem with Adobe Acrobat that it refused to open PDF files launched from TC when the sandbox feature of Acrobat was activated. Try checking if it is enabled and if yes, try disabling it (Edit > Preferences > Security (Enhanced) > Sandbox protections according to Google).

Mal angenommen, du drückst Strg+F, wählst die FTP-Verbindung (mit gespeichertem Passwort), klickst aber nicht auf Verbinden, sondern fällst tot um.
