WDX plugin to count total filename characters?

Hi,

Is there a WDX plugin that counts total filename characters and total path characters?

I think that something like that should help me to identify really long paths that exceeds certain limits that may cause troubles.
I can't remember now to name a case, but I had troubles related to really long path lenghts before.

Any help or method or plugin name would be appreciated.
