Consistently reproducible locally in Windows 11, also with TC 11 b3. The monitor uses DisplayPort connection.
After software initiated standby TC uses two column format in the pane and truncates file names that we shown in one column.
Hardware button gives the same result.

Sorry, I don't have any other solution than using a button with CM_EXIT 1 to restart Total Commander.
