It checked out OK when I checked it. It links to wetransfer.com where you can download FastCopy5.0.0_x64.rar which contains the same files as the original 5.0.0 installer. If there is something wrong with it that I missed, please let me know.

Hmm. I had some solid redirects and browser freezes. Checked with different VPNs. And one site tester showed suspicion of mining. :?

There was never a need to link or distribute files from another site as the Authors one.
The installer from GitHub linked on
https://fastcopy.jp
has no malware or any other unnecessary additional files.
Windows 11 Home x64 Version 23H2 (OS Build 22631.3374)
TC 11.03 x64 / x86
Everything 1.5.0.1371a (x64), Everything Toolbar 1.3.2, Listary Pro 6.3.0.69
QAP 11.6.3.2 x64

It didn't exist before the 5 version. And few people knew about the hidden keys of the installer. It was only after a hint that I found a description of the /h key in the help.

That is entirely beside the point.

Moderator, why was the malicious link above allowed?
The link that I provided contains the files that you had requested.

However, instead of showing little gratitude for my help, you have accused me of spreading malware.

Please remember to use proper manners and refrain from making baseless accusations.

Thank you for your understanding.

Logic should suggest that gratitude is possible only with a favorable outcome, right?
I didn't write a word about malware, don't make it up, I wrote only about a link that didn't work properly for me.

You're wrong. The justifications are given above, nothing has been invented, everything has been repeatedly tested.
P. S. By the way, the x64 version that the moderator pointed out would not suit me. In any case, thank you for your efforts.

Read the thread, yet following questions:

1) can I evaluate the tool without purchasing (= basic copy functionality evaluation for speed)?
2) My *main* purpose would be copying 'largish' files (1-10 Gb) files from my laptop (SSD) over WiFi to my NAS - is fastcopy any good for this?

Thx.

1: yes you can use it as freeware without registering nor purchasing. You also have a 2-week trial period for testing pro feature.
2: yes fastcopy is efficient to copy large files but it can use a lot of resource and make your PC not responsive during copy process if you do not use limits.
