Good news. :D Question: Can I choose both registration names i.e. one key is registered on my name, the other is registered on the name of my friend? (Or are both names the same?)

I apologize if this issue has been raised before, but unfortunately CompleX CD/DVD doesn’t display the plugin icon in Network Neighborhood under win98se – only standard ugly folder. Everything is OK under WinXP. I suppose it’s due to used Aspack compressor?

Mal angenommen, du drückst Strg+F, wählst die FTP-Verbindung (mit gespeichertem Passwort), klickst aber nicht auf Verbinden, sondern fällst tot um.

It works ok, only doesn't display original icon, just the standart folder icon.

Hi,
I just installed the trial version (latest) and I have exactly the same behaviour under WinXP SP2. The icon shown is the standard folder's icon and when pressing enter to enter the plugin I get nothing, no action at all.

I just downloaded it again from their site and the dll has changed, different sizes, and it now is working..much probably a silent update because I didn't find any relevance of upgrades..

anyway now it's ok..

Well, according to all this I have to register your plugin every time I use TC on other person's computer.

That's not good, 'cause I use TC on many different machines mostly from my removable flash drive and one of it's (TC) most useful features in such a case is it's not Registry dependent application in everything including registration routine.

So my suggestion is to use the same registration procedure in your plugin Commander has - some kind of key file.

Thank you in advance.[/face]

You can also place the key file in TC directory without adding any info into the registry :)

I also asked developpers (on their forum) the possibility to put the key in the plugin dir

Thank you for the information, colleague :). Anyway, I guess that guy from CompleX Software Team should mention this fact in a letter with key file %).

And this stuff should remove ASProtect "spy" key from Registry after software registration, BTW.

f> I also asked developpers (on their forum)

Well, I sent them a letter instead but didn't get an answer - it looks like their users support service is far from perfection.

f> the possibility to put the key in the plugin dir

Yep, very good idea.

I want Complex CD to save "Options" state (opened/closed) on exit - is it possible to add this functionality?[/face]
