Sudden close of TotalCommander

The behaviour described in the bug report is either by design, or would be far too complex/time-consuming to be changed

Sudden close of TotalCommander

Post by *mpcg »

Hi.
In my pc, version 11.1 of TotalCommander is showing some instability which I never encountered in earlier versions. I haven’t figured out in what situations (exactly) this happens, but already happened several times that in response to a command (like copying a file) suddenly TC shuts down (I just closes its window without any error message). This happened already several times when I press ctrl-c to copy a file, but it is not restricted to this context. Anyone now anything about this strange behaviour of TC?
Thanks.

Perhaps it is related to a faulty shell extension.
BTW, your crashes should be visible in the Windows Reliability History.

Mal angenommen, du drückst Strg+F, wählst die FTP-Verbindung (mit gespeichertem Passwort), klickst aber nicht auf Verbinden, sondern fällst tot um.
