TC11.02RC5/6: Cannot switch to German
Since release candidate 5, one of my two computers has been set to English instead of German. If I then select "Language" under the options, only English is offered and WCMD_DEU.mnu is displayed under "Main neu file:". That should be the German language file, right? How can I fix this?
Re: TC11.02RC5/6: Cannot switch to German
Here, the update has stored the necessary English and German files.
Code: Select all
WCMD_DEU.INC
WCMD_DEU.LNG
WCMD_DEU.MNU
WCMD_ENG.MNU

Did you try to create a shortcut to Total Commander somewhere, e.g. on the desktop? Then you may have copied or moved the program there instead of creating a shortcut. Since the language files were not copied with the program, they cannot be found by the moved executable. Please delete the false link and re-install (in case you moved the executable).

Re: TC11.02RC5/6: Cannot switch to German
It is possible that I have updated to RC5 with UCheck on one computer. I don't know anymore.
I have now uninstalled and reinstalled the TC and all is right with the world again!
