Save/Move remaining file display error

I have a problem spanning several versions when copying/moving files, in the copy window, the number showing the number of copied files randomly freezes, does not count the copied files, at the same time the number indicating the copied size also seems to show the size of the currently copied file, not the size of the total/remaining files, and the total copy percentage display is between 0-1%, after reaching 1% it is reset to zero. The display of the current file creeps up to 100% for all files. Even with older versions, random did it Maybe even with versions 7.x - 8.x it was good in my memory, which was not today. I've had more hardware since then, so it's definitely not a hardware failure. Bought, registered own version, not broken/pirated..... If I switch the copied file counter to negative (countdown mode), it is still the same situation. Any solution to this error?
It's not fatal, it's just disturbing that it's been around for versions.

Could you please provide more information? I tried the supported copy methods (default and large file mode), and tried copying a total of 500GB, and files >1.5 GB, but the error never happened.
1. Windows version?
2. Total Commander 32-bit or 64-bit?
3. What types are dive h: and f: ?
4. Could you send me your wincmd.ini to support at ghisler dot com?

2. TC 11.02 64bit but not new, the error was also present under 10.x. Maybe it was still good in versions 7-8, although I don't remember exactly.
3. The video is about copying between WD DC H520 12TB SATA HDDs in my desktop PC, so it's not a network copy. But it has also happened between HDD-SSD and SSD-SSD, so I don't think it can be hardware-dependent from this point of view. I had lots of Motherboard/CPU (AMD/INTEL platform) exchange, and several HDD/SSD exchanges, and the error always came up. It also appeared after a complete Windows reinstallation, and the video also was made after a Windows reinstallation.
4. I am trying to send the ini file via e-mail, the subject of the e-mail will be Save/Move remaining file display error

I have tried with your ini file on Windows 11, but didn't encounter the problem. I copied over 30 GB, but the progress bar worked fine.
Something from the outside may be interfering with Total Commander.

Could try to temporarily disable "Refresh when files are created, deleted or renamed" in
Configuration - Options - Refresh?

Thanks for trying! Now the question is what is interfering? Are you downloading files to the source or target folder in the background while copying in Total Commander?

I am using O&O software CleverCache https://www.oo-software.com/en/products/ooclevercache . I will do some test with disabled this cache and reenable the refresh functions in the TCommander shortly.

Sounds like you found the culprit. I will try to reproduce the error with it, maybe there is a workaround.

The O&O clever cache was set to maximise file cache size. It has 3 presets. Auto/ Maximise main memory/ Maximise cache size. I am using the maximise cache size setting. Maybe it can help you to reproduce the error.
