Is there a newer Amazon AWS S3 Browser-plugin for 64bit?

Post by *richardhcoctopus »

S3 Browser 1.9.5 is a 32bit plugin and it's quite old. Is there a new S3 Browser for 64bit?
Or is there some other way to use Total Commander for uploading and downloading to Amazon AWS S3?
I use Windows but also Mac and I downloaded Total Commander for the Mac and it includes S3 as well as FTP. Will Total Commander for Windows include S3 as well?

Just FYI, there is no Total Commander for the Mac.

Mal angenommen, du drückst Strg+F, wählst die FTP-Verbindung (mit gespeichertem Passwort), klickst aber nicht auf Verbinden, sondern fällst tot um.

Here's a new plugin:
https://github.com/WouterVanNifterick/wfx-s3-wvn

It lets you upload/download/copy/move/rename files, and switch/create/delete S3 buckets.

- Free, open source
- Small, fast
- Doesn't require additional software to be installed
- Works with TC11, x86 and x64

Help!
Step 3
Connect to S3
"The plugin will automatically attempt to use your default AWS credentials."

The plugin does not automatically find my default AWS credentials even after I entered them in the Windows 11 System Variables And it does not ask for the default AWS credentials.

I tried entering the AWS https and also the AWS ARN code to my bucket in the url on the top of the s3 window - no go.

Can you please assist in getting the plugin working?

Total Commander is not available on Mac, definitely not.

In response to your query, I would recommend using "https _ //cloudmounter _ net/amazon-s3-client _ html" to work with Amazon S3 on Mac.

I actually decided to register so I could leave a reply.
