In the updated version, the context menu under "new" lists numerous unnecessary and unfamiliar file extensions. It differs from the standard Windows context menu, with items not bearing their usual names—for instance, "new shortcut" appears as "lnkfile." I stumbled upon a single discussion addressing this problem, but it lacked any proposed solutions. Is there a method to streamline this and revert to the standard system context menu, or at least to alter the items it contains? I would greatly appreciate any advice.
