Audio player issue on Android: continues playing time, but no sound

Hello.
I have the latest version 3.50 on my new oukitel wp23 Android phone
The issue is that the player starts ok with my music list. But after it continues playing the next track from the list there is no sound.
It shows that playing continues with playing time. But no sound - only silence.
When I move the track slider left it starts playing again but only while the current track is going.
With the next track this issue happens again and again.
How to solve this issue?

It sounds like your phone does not support gapless playback. That's a feature where the player can tell Android during playback which track is next, and Android will then play the next track immediately after the current one without any gap (delay).

You can try turning off gapless playback as follows:
1. Go to the home folder in Total Commander
2. Go to "File system root" (no root required)
3. Go to data -> data -> com.ghisler.android.TotalCommander -> files
4. Long click on ".."
5. Choose "New text file"
6. Enter the following name (note: upper/lowercase are important):
GaplessTypes
7. Save the file (empty)
8. Make sure the player is stopped (no notification)
9. Close Total Commander via list of running apps

Afterwards Total Commander will not use Gapless Playback any more.

I have never had a problem with Total Commander playing songs in succession on my Pixel 7 until I upgraded to Android 15. At that point, when playing a folder of music using the "Play (background)" option, all subsequent songs after the first are silent until I manually rewind them to the beginning. I created the "GaplessTypes" file as mentioned, but that did not solve the issue. Do you have any other information that may help me solve this?

Unfortunately my phone still hasn't received Android 15, so I cannot test this. I tried in the emulator, but there was no sound even after rebooting.

Does anyone else have this problem? Maybe it only happens with some file types?
