[11.50ß8] Root dir -> [..] -> Lost position.
You will need come drive letters. E.g.: C, D, E, F - these would be enough.
Then set config to show ".." in root of the drive.
Now:
Open any folder on D: -> Ctrl+\ (you are in root of D: now) -> Home (move cursor to "..") -> Enter (now you see all drives) -> Enter (you are in root of C: now)
Open any folder on E: -> Ctrl+\ (you are in root of D: now) -> Home (move cursor to "..") -> Enter (now you see all drives) -> Enter (you are in root of C: now)
etc...
TC 11.03 works fine there and does NOT lose the position of previously opened drive after ".." is opened.
Open any folder on D: -> Ctrl+\ (you are in root of D: now) -> Home (move cursor to "..") -> Enter (now you see all drives) -> Enter (you are in root of D: now)
Open any folder on E: -> Ctrl+\ (you are in root of D: now) -> Home (move cursor to "..") -> Enter (now you see all drives) -> Enter (you are in root of E: now)
Please, fix this.

Re: [11.50ß8] Root dir -> [..] -> Lost position.
I can confirm the difference in behavior in TC 11.03 and 11.50 (starting with beta1)
I think the way it worked in 11.03 is most correct = setting the cursor on the drive I came from when cliking [..] in the root of the physical drives.

Re: [11.50ß8] Root dir -> [..] -> Lost position.
This change is indeed not intended. It happens because I'm now showing the volume labels behind the drives, which makes the search for the right entry fail. I will try to re-add it.

Thanks for clarification.
May I also ask to make the label show function switchable (option to turn them off and on)?

Exiting the root of a drive, wrong position
In version 11.50b8, when exiting the root of a drive (with the two dots), you always find yourself positioned on the first drive letter; in the previous stable version (v11.03) you found yourself on the corresponding drive letter.
Ex. before: root disk D: -> [..] -> Disk D: - now: root disk D: -> [..] -> Disk C:

01.12.24 Fixed: Going up from drive root to list of drives by double clicking on ".." no longer placed cursor on correct drive (32/64)
Confirm fixed in RC1. Thanks.
