How can I make TC display folders in the same way as when you "explore" a folder with Windows Explorer:
Left panel: tree opened at the branch corresponding to selected folder
Right panel: folder contents of the selected folder
Total Commander Interface - need help

Thanks for your reply. I realize that I can change to a tree view after the folder already opened in Total Commander. But it gets very annoying to have to change the view every time after opening a folder! I want everything to open correctly to begin with.
I will try to clarify the problem:
E.g. I have few folders sitting on my Desktop (regular desktop from Windows Explorer - I configured TC as the file manager instead of Explorer, but I still have Windows Explorer providing the desktop environment). I double-click on one of desktop folders - that launches TC. When Total Commander opens only one of the panels is displaying contents of the folder that I clicked on. The other panel is displaying contents of some other folder - NOT the tree view.
I want the initial view displayed in TC to be:
left panel: tree view, opened to the folder that I clicked on;
right panel: contents of the folder that I clicked on (Detailed view)
