I have loved 'Total Commander' since I first encountered it more than 20 years ago. It has become indispensable in my daily routine. I keep many tabs open with different folders to manage my files and move them from one place to another, or simply to find them more quickly.
However, as some other users have already indicated, the years catch up with you, and having many tabs open makes me confused. Because of this, I need a quick way to assign a color to the tabs according to my needs, so I can quickly identify certain tabs and know which ones belong to a specific theme, thus not getting lost in the large number of tabs I keep open. What I humbly suggest (I know it might not be very easy to achieve) is something like right-clicking on the tab and being able to select the color I want there, or having a way to group tabs and have a color configuration option for them (something like what Chrome does nowadays). I know we might be asking a lot for software that is already wonderful, but if it were possible to configure each tab to change its color, and hopefully also group them (like Chrome), I think it would be very useful for many users because they would find their folders more easily and the use of Total Commander would become much more efficient.
Thank you in advance for your attention and for taking the time to review my suggestion.

Just define a view view modes via Configuration - Options - View modes, then you assign them quickly via right click on a tab header.I need a quick way to assign a color to the tabs according to my needs
