WinXP - multi-rename range problem with unicode

Post by *PascalT »

Windows XP sp3 32 bits
TC 11.55RC2

The "[N#-#] Range" dialog of the Multi-Rename tool displays unicode as "?" (Unicode is correctly displayed in the file list of the main Multi-Rename window).

I don't know if this was working in previous releases.
I did not find anything about this in the forum.
It' working OK with windows 10 64bit.

Confirmed (32-bit only). It looks like setting the option "HideSelection" of the edit control to false recreates the control, but this is an old ANSI function which loses the Unicode content. Setting HideSelection before setting the text seems to fix it.
