Alt + letter directory list as includes, not start with
Handy feature for me, but it works as "staring from".
Can I force it to work as "includes"?
Means "Catalog" and "Logitec" folders will be filtered on "log".
That works like startWith vs includes in JS.
Not the fantasy, it's really useful in some cases

Or just type an asterisk as the first character in the search box. Alt+* doesn't work, so use alt+q or some other character where it's unlikely that a word starts with it. Or use quick search method "Letters with search dialog" when you rarely use the command line.

I wouldn't say that I use the command line rarely, but still, this option has been enabled for me since it first appeared. There's nothing complicated about switching to the command line with Shift+Left/Right or Ctrl+Down (cm_ShowCmdLineHistory in my case).Or use quick search method "Letters with search dialog" when you rarely use the command line.
In general, I think it's too short-sighted to deprive yourself of many hotkeys with Alt+.

Alt+Q + * - that's perfect

Perfect, that's what I need, thanks!Fla$her wrote: 2026-02-08, 05:31 UTCAlt+Q + * - that's perfectDo you still not understand that an asterisk is not needed if the option I specified is unchecked?
