Drive Dialog (TDRIVEDLG): Showing drive descriptions?

When either of the two:

• the file panel has a tab that points to a directory on a removable drive which was removed, and this tab is activated,

• the file panel history contains a directory on a removable drive which was removed, and this directory is selected,

happens, then the Drive Dialog (TDRIVEDLG) is shown.

This Drive Dialog contains the combo-box with drive letters and icons, but not with the drive descriptions such as "Hard Drive", "DVD Drive", "USB Drive" etc. Without these descriptions, this combo-box does not look really useful because I don't remember which drive letter corresponds to which exact drive. For example, there can be several USB drives connected, and I'd like to understand which one I'm selecting in the given combo-box.
Is there an existing option to show drive descriptions in this Drive Dialog?
If not, please add it as a new feature.

The TwinKey plugin has the option to show the drives with it labels and sizes.

You can add your own drive descriptions in the wincmd.ini file, section [DriveHints].
For example, "E=USB drive"

I'd highly prefer to see the Drive Dialog updated in the next version of Total Commander.
I mean, since this information/description is already present in the existing drive combo-boxes in file panels, I see no reason to not have the same in the Drive Dialog.

I hope this change will be included in the version 11.56.
The implementation is expected to be either a refactoring or copy-pasting, so does not seem to require much time.

We are at 11.56 RC1
and your wish will not come true in this special release.
