Sort files numerically?

Using v3.41d (The latest on Amazon's Appstore for my Kindle Fire 5th Gen).

How can I display file names containing numbers in the correct order 
'File 10.mp3' is being listed adjacent to 'File 1.mp3' instead of 'File 9.mp3'.

I can't find anything under 'Configure', or 'Sort active panel'.

Is there such an option?

Sadly there is no sort function in Java to sort with this so called "natural sorting" method. I could do my own sort function, but it would be many orders of magnitude slower because java byte code is much slower than hard coded machine code used now.

To be honest, I was also troubled by this issue, to the point where I had to add Mixplorer to the toolbar and call it using parameters.
Mixplorer does have this option, but when it comes to renaming files, it doesn’t offer as many placeholders as TC does.

So I’m forced to go through the process multiple times.
As for the performance issues mentioned by Ghisler, I think those are probably exaggerated.
After all, no one would need to handle thousands or tens of thousands of files on their phone. Handling dozens or hundreds of files at a time might be possible.Why do we use TC on our phones? Only to deal with special situations in our work and daily lives.

I think adding this option would be useful. A note explaining that it might slow down file listing could be included, but being able to complete these tasks all at once in TC would still be very helpful.
