Hmm, I read it as chanlibell deletes one character at the time (3 presses), but after the 3rd press the deleting continues by itself, without the key being pressed - but maybe I understood it wrong?

You have understood exactly correctly and your command is correct and this happens for every operation I perform with the keyboard

Yes, I followed Mr. White's suggestion but it didn't make a difference

Regarding the second part of your statement:

Before bringing this up in the forum, I tried this on two available computers as well as with several different keyboards and I always get this error.
Because my first thought was that there was a problem with my keyboard.

And the strange thing is that I don't remember any problems with this same computer and keyboard with Windows 7 and 10.

And this problem has arisen since installing Windows 11, and I have installed Windows 11 cleanly several times with different versions, but the problem still exists.


The only temporary solution is to not use queue mode when copying or transferring files on the computer, no matter how long it takes, because as soon as I use Total Commander in queue mode, any strange and unforeseen thing may happen, and worst of all, my files may be deleted.

It doesn't seem so. So it's helpful to provide as much information as possible. For example, it might be helpful to describe, in detail, exact minimal steps to reproduce the issue.

Does it also happen in the comment editor, when you select a file or folder and press Ctrl+Z to edit a comment?
If so, can you create a video where you type "abcdefg" in the comment editor?

- Install any virtual machine manager, make almost your work computer clone there.
- Put there your copy of the Windows installation - the one you used in your
repeated attempts, as you wrote, to get rid of the problem.
- Check after installing the OS in a virtual machine - that the problem remains,
- Upload the virtual machine image to any available file sharing site.
