We have common behavior for cm_ShowOnlySelected, when the cursor moves to the first item.
I don't consider it correct that the remaining file should lose the cursor.

Sorry, this isn't currently supported. I don't consider this a bug, but a missing feature.

Yes, but not in 11.57 - there are probably multiple such functions where it would make sense to preserve the cursor position, see the discussion about cm_TransferLeft/cm_TransferRight.

Only in that case, there was a conversation about an optional solution, and in this case it definitely won't be required.
