Add case conversion options for file extensions in batch rename

Batch rename via Ctrl+M currently allows changing the case of file names, but there is no separate option to change only the case of file extensions while keeping the original file names unchanged.

Add a separate checkbox or setting for file extensions, for example: Convert extensions to lowercase. This would be useful when working with folders that contain hundreds of files with different extensions, where manually correcting each extension is time-consuming.

In Ctrl+M Multi-RenameTool press the F1-key and read the help.

Scroll down to:

{U} All characters after this position in uppercase
[L] All characters after this position in lowercase

So use file mask: [N] and Extension:{U}[E] ---or- [UE]



Attention: {...} used due to how forum formating works.
In MRT use [...] instead, read the help for the correct syntax/use.

The current setting applies only to the entire filename, but it would be better to have separate checkboxes for applying it to the filename and the extension.

Setting? I underlined "all placeholders". [L][E] in the second field (box) will make lowercase only for extensions.

If we're talking specifically about inserting a placeholder, then using the current focus is sufficient. Checkboxes only take up space.
