[TC 11.58rc3] Swap panels (Ctrl+U) swaps panel headers even when access failes for header-encrypted archives

Post by *white »

(This issue also exists in older TC versions.)

Create these 2 header-encrypted archives:
archive1.7z - which contains encrypted folder secret1
archive2.7z - which contains encrypted folder secret2

Make sure you have Remember passwords disabled.

* In the left panel open folder: archive1.7z\secret1\ (enter password when asked)
* In the right panel open folder: archive2.7z\secret2\ (enter password when asked)
* Press Ctrl+U to swap left and right panel.
* Press Esc when asked for the password.
* Again, press Esc when asked for the password.
The folders are not shown in either of the panels, but the tab headers show the decrypted folder names.

Thanks, I can reproduce it. You actually don't need two archives, it also happens when swapping one archive with a regular directory.

Why? Total Commander tries to preserve user-renamed tabs. I will add extra code to detect this.

Btw, please don't make this the new "bug of the week"! If you find other similar problems, please report them now.

This should be fixed in Total Commander 11.58 RC4, please test!
11.06.26 Fixed: Swap panels (Ctrl+U) preserved tab headers even when a directory couldn't be swapped, e.g. a header-encrypted archive where the user didn't enter the password (32/64)

Tested OK using TC 11.58rc4 32-bit and 64-bit.
