Thumbs up, this a great enhancement. :)

[REQ]:
If possible please think about directly integrating the ordering functionality in the normal plugin view instead a separate button, thanks.

I don't think it's good idea, because program allows to change order of Packer plugins too. Look: now Packer plugins are sorted by title - in main window and by loading order - in Order window. If I delete Order window, how should I sort plugins?

You may suggest to show [NN] numbers for Packer plugins, as for LS/Content plugins, but it may confuse user, because loading order applies only to several Packer plugins (only to plugins which are registered to Ctrl+PgDn).

Besides that several plugin titles just suck and therefore cannot be sorted "with sense" alphabetically anyway (think about "Total Commander plugin for working with chm files" for example *sigh*), the common denominator of all plugins is the order of the plugins in wincmd.ini and this should be the main sorting criteria.

The alphabetical sort mechanism as it is now could be added separately, for example with a button "reorder alphabetically" or better like that:

This is what I would suggest, an alternative would be to split the column "title" in two columns so you can either sort by number (wincmd.ini order) or plugin title.

The manual sorting functionality could be realized by drag&drop or by Shift+Cursor keys.

Yes, David (of Screamer fame) is finally back "in business". Got a new beta the other day. But he seems to be very busy nowadays...

I agree.
But separate Order window has an advantage:
I read items to memory, user reorders them, and only after OK press I write them to file. If it will be order buttons on main form, I cannot do this: I must write to file after _every_ Up/Down press. It will be slower.

If it's not possible to write to file only when pressing "apply" it is no good enhancement, true.
