Find files - Save with save selecton

Post by *spuri »

I would like to save
"po*.i2?" in "C:\projects\", text "poj"

but is it possible to save directory selection with this also
I meand I would like to search in
C:\projects\p1258
C:\projects\p1259
C:\projects\p2015
C:\projects\p2032
but I don't want to search in many other folders wich are in c:\projects

I know I can save selections than load find files set but would be great with one click only ;)
thanks

So what is your actual question?
"How do I exclude directories from a search?" or
"How do I start a predefined search with one click?"
?

Mal angenommen, du drückst Strg+F, wählst die FTP-Verbindung (mit gespeichertem Passwort), klickst aber nicht auf Verbinden, sondern fällst tot um.

I do not want to exclude I want to select only in those directories everytime - I want to save dir selection with the find settings

one-click is a dream I want an easier way than goto dir -> load selection from file -> ALT-F7 -> load find setting -> click find

fisrt & second step should be automated if it could store dir selection

I want to save dir selection with the find settings
You can use Alt-F7 - Plugins - Search in plugins, Combine with OR:
tc - path - contains - C:\projects\p1258
Add more yourself. Then you can save this search.

I stink my long procedure is still easier than adding 10-20 path manually

Well, if you often need to search in the same dirs, then probably not.
