Changing view from Search results goes to wrong dir

Probably just a coincidence that the base dir hasn't yet changed...

How does the base dir change?

Scenario 1:
Left panel c:\alpha\, right panel c:\.
Search in the left panel, feed to listbox.
F2 changes to c:\alpha\, Ctrl-F1 (without F2 pressed before) changes to c:\.

Scenario 2:
Left panel c:\alpha\, right panel c:\.
Search in the left panel, feed to listbox.
Right panel change to c:\beta\.
Back to left, F2 changes to c:\alpha\, Ctrl-F1 (without F2 pressed before) changes to c:\beta\.

Am I missing something?
