progress bar refresh

Hello,

not a bug but kinda irritating behaviour...

when you transfer lets say 80Mb over the LAN through a 2Mbit leased line the progress bar jumps the 1st second from 0 > 15% and then it halts for a few minutes, I guess it's reading 5Mb into a buffer or something?

can't it show the buffer write progress instead to give a more realistic progress view?

This happens with some slow drives where Windows itself accepts a lot of data into its disk write cache, and sometimes writes the data only when CloseFile is called. To avoid this problem, you may try to use the compatibility mode (configuration - copy/delete), but in some cases, even in this mode the cache behaves like this...
