Suggestion - propagating environment variables

Post by *Flyke »

I often launch a command prompt from within Total Commander and I have noticed that when you change an environment variable the change is not reflected in Total Commander.

From my point of view it would be a most welcome change if Total Commander would update its environment variables when the main window receives a WM_SETTINGCHANGE message.

I've read the MS article, but it says that it won't work on Win98.

So your application that modifies the system environment dynamically will not work on Windows 98 ...

Why do you want TC to behave on Win98 different from all other OS versions ?
