Don't know if it works for rar files, but it's supposed to, I think: Arch view plugin

If you prefer the archive comments to be shown in the file panels (in a user defined column), try the content plugin RARcolumns and add the field definition [=rarcolumns.Comment] to any custom column set.

Yes! I have Arch view plugin installed, but don't know that read also comments...
