Hi !
- The shortest and darkest posting I saw here for a long while !
1. Please, tell us what that ZIP file is.
2. Read The Fabulous Manuals (Help and Tutorial)
3. Some ZIPs made by WinZip 9.0 with encoding can pose problems…

I can't unpack a .zip file, too. Maybe ghisler can fix this bug.

Thanks for your comments. I have found a way to open this file (which opened with WinZip) by Files/Unpack specific files... command. I'm not sure why it wouldn't open yesterday.
I have a similar problem with the zip files generated byt the BackupForall application. Neither TC nor 7-ZIP can handle the files generated byt the application. Could you please extend TC's functionality in future to handle this situation?

I would say, those zip files are not zip files after all. You should rather contact the developer of BackupForall, and inquire there about the format.
I switched to Linux, bye and thanks for all the fish!

Actually, they are zip files - internal Xp archive wizard does handle them properly.
Update: the latest version of 7-Zip - 4.29 works properly with the zip archive files generated by Backup4All. There is probably some problem with the zip format depacker in Total Commander, I guess.
Compatibility
You can restore data using any standard zip software, Backup4all gives you this way more flexibility if you need to restore data on a different computer.
May you post a Zip created with Backup4all for testing ?

Works fine for using the encryption-enabled ZIP library.
The Total Commander districution doesn't contain any encryption stuff for legal reasons.
There is a free library which enables encryption stuff for ZIP files.
I couldn't find a download location, sorry. Maybe someone else has a link.
