Hello all,

I assume this is a bug:
1. Get this file: Avatar
2. Open with Imagine
3. Use the left and right arrow keys

You will see the image move, this doesn't happen in IE, PaintDotNet.

I just noticed, it happens with every image I try. Animated GIF's show you the background when moved ;)

Can more people confirm?

Regards,

:) Hello !
- NOT confirmed here under Win 98 SE, same than Wihelm M.

- Either in Lister with Imagine or in Imagine-standalone, you pic stays sticked at the centre of the window, as it should…

{ Aside :
- BTW : I would be happy to get your "bug" in the pic-viewers, in order to move small pictures on the screen, it should be useful :D
- I've even requested such a feature in XnView, via the right-click “hand cursor” (same exists in Imagine). X-Mas wish… }

 Kind regards,
Claude

Yes, confirmed under Win XP

Paul

P.S. I just find that AVATAR.GIF is not a real GIF file but à JPG with a false extension !

Ah! Should have named my operating system: W2k Prof. Have not tested on Win XP. So it seems to be an interaction between Imagine and Win XP (?).

:) Hello Paul !
P.S. I just find that AVATAR.GIF is not a real GIF file but à JPG with a false extension !
• Confirmed, this is indicated when displaying the pic in UniView (but not in XnView, though the "24BPP" feature is shown !)

:) Hello !
So it seems to be an interaction between Imagine and Win XP (?).
• It's very possible, since I've not the bug under Win 98 SE…
 In fact, this is the contain of the pic which moves inside its frame, till the motif disappears ! After a large amount of R or L-arrow strikes, only the background remains ! Paul sent me a bunch of screen-shots with that sample, it's really weird (and funny !).

:| Unfortunately, we can't display them here in the messages directly…
- I thought first that the whole pic moved on the screen, but I mistook… alas !
