Unerase PlugIn dose not work on my NFS

Post by *Peled »

I am sure I am doing something wrong. But it seems that once I moved to NTFS, the Unerase PlugIn can't see my erased files any more.
I may not use the right PlugIn, so please let we know what could work on NTFS.
IPoint is I do not know the type and version of that PlugIn. It just shows up
on my "/" root as "Erased files"

Some file recovery tools, which works for NTFS too and which were recommended / mentioned elsewhere in this forum:

Back2Life4TC V2.3
Homepage: http://www.grandutils.com/Back2Life4TC/
Plugin for TC. Back2Life4TC is not free, the evaluation version got some restrictions.

Restoration
Download: http://www3.telus.net/mikebike/Restoration.zip
(thanks to Icfu, who has found this link :) )

PC INSPECTOR File Recovery

Some restrictions ....

I prefer freeware applications, but PC Inspector File Recovery dosn't do the job very good.

Try Active Undelete for full power.
Back2Life does work at my NTFS system so I don't know whats wrong in yours.

Restoration - Russian brothers strikes again. Not very useable. It should be open source.
We are not doing this just for the money.
We are doing it for sh*t load of money.

Back2Life shows the same error here. On NTFS drives C and F it still works here, on NTFS drives D and E only "rescan" is shown. Maybe some kind of shareware limitation that comes to life after a while.

If you are talking about the "one file at a time" limitation, this one has been fixed in the link above...
