new version of mmedia.wlx (2.1)

Post by *fg_2002fr »

Hi all

version 2.1 is out,
I made some efforts for those under NT4 or if you think Media player 6.4 is better. You can now choose between 3 media players (standard MCI, MP6.4, WMP7-9)

this version
- give the choice of Media Player (see 'options' tab)
(be care of unsupported format)
- show m3u list of files
- allow to change volume with '+' and '-' keys
- add an option to close automatically at end of playing
- show size of file
- fix a bug with QuickView

I optimized also the source code that is related to a size reduction.
I have not enough time to test this plugin under other platform than WinXP also don't hesitate to comment or report bug

Size: 36 KB
You can download it here:

Thanks for a new version, I've already noticed some positive changes :-) but unfortunately it crashes in some situations :-(
I must test it more carefully and I will try to describe it more precisely soon.

Sometime I get a "Failed to load RICHED20 Library" message. When I tried to "view" TOTALCMD.EXE with this plugin.
I have WinME on my machine.

Similar problem is discussed in http://ghisler.ch/board/viewtopic.php?t=968 and corrected (?) .

Just another bug:

I have winME with wmplayer 7.1. When I set in plugin WM 7+ to playback, I cannot control music playback (play, stop, pause, ...)
When I switch to WM 6.4 it's ok

to henrich.fukna
I cannot control music playback
in fact, the library I am using is written for WMP9, it's normally compatible with ver 7, but I cannot obtain control of music playback.

I use another library to control MediaPlayer 6.4
