It would be nice, if you repack plugin archive to zip or rar.
Because: a) currently I need SQX unpacker to install it, I don't have it;
b) currently TC auto-install script (pluginst.inf) doesn't work.

Lefteous, thank you for this useful complement for TotalSQX packer plugin !

Would it be feasible to add fields for

• encrypted? (yes / no)
• encryption type (none / AES128 / AES256 / AES128+listing / AES256+listing)
• pack method (compression rate 0..5 + ultra match link 1..9)

(I'am afraid, that "pack method" isn't available in the archive header or in the archive at all, so the content plugin can't extract this information, right?)

Yes but only if the header is not encrypted. In this case a password is required which doesn't make sense for a content plug-in.
Anyway I will add it.

The pack method is set per file not per archive. Maybe TC supports content plugin-in in packer-plugin-ins one day.

- However, you tell in the Help :
«Total Commander displays a quick info with additional information about a SQX archive.»
- I can't get this, not any info-text, except the awful Win XP-Pro ones…
- But yet, I have set more columns than displayed in the pane. I expected to get this info-text for the fields not visible on the panel (not wide enough), but nope…
- If I disable the Win32 items for this, indeed the Win XP hints disappear, but I don't get the SQX extra-info anymore. Same @ Paul Vansumsen-friend's who tested too…



{Aside : The size-values are not translated. The right¦left alignment for some values is not very convenient, "centred" should be better for some columns; I know, this is not supported by TC currently; I have requested this a long while ago on the ß-forum, a nail which needs to be hammered again… }

That's just an example. We both know that TC help is quite comfortless at this point. I linked to the wiki article but it's not yet complete. I will add more information to the article soon.

There seem to be a discrepancy in the last line of the main language files in English versus German:

- However, according to the Lefteous' info, it seems that the “Archive Creator=…” means the person who created the archive, not the programme since indeed it's always a SQX one…
- Of course, we can't check this prior if we have not a signature-file …
