[Bug] Buttons don't become flat

Post by *Alextp »

Strange bug (TC 6.54 and XP SP2):
Options "Flat user interface" and "Flat drive buttons" don't work, buttons are always non-flat. Current theme is "Windows XP". If I change theme to "Classic" (Win 2k style), then these options work. Is this only my problem?

BTW, option "Flat buttons" in my own program compiled with D5 - works always.

Mal angenommen, du drückst Strg+F, wählst die FTP-Verbindung (mit gespeichertem Passwort), klickst aber nicht auf Verbinden, sondern fällst tot um.

:) Hello Roman !

“WantXPLook*” is official now, I could find it in the Help.
- It works fine here for a while already…
- I had added it in the Tutorial -with a note- as :
WantXpLook=0
Reset the buttons style like under Win 9x. Allows too to use the option “Flat icons” in Configuration —> Layout.
1: XP Style (must be enabled in Windows)
2: Flat buttons
3: Usual buttons
 I have to remove the note now…

 Kind regards,
Claude

Ok, "WantXPLook=0" made buttons flat.
Why Christian didn't set this option to 0 by default?

Probably so XP looks like XP.

That's correct! TC 7 will support XP flat buttons too (using the toolbar look instead of the button look).
