[req] Plugin for copy descript.ion

Hi all,

I would find it very handy if there were a plugin (maybe a packer plugin?) which would allow me to copy the description of a file/folder to another file in the target panel.

The goal:

I just created a bunch descriptions for my 'plugins' -folder. Now I would liuke to copy those descriptions to the corresponding *.wcx *.wdx *.wfx *.wlx files.

I imagine something like selecting in the target panel the destination file, putting the cursor on the described file/folder and press [Alt]+[F5] to 'pack the description to the target file(s)/folder(s).

Could someone do anything like this. Or daoes it already exist?

Do you mean something like:

Select files at left panel and copy it to the right panel, but instead of copy the files, the descriptions of matching files are copied only ?

Nice idea !

Up to now you have to copy (and overwrite) the whole file to get the descriptions copied.
Full copy may no problem in case of plugins with small sizes, but unnecessary for others like disc-images ...
