FTP listing
i got a strange behaviour of the ftp client: in some ftp-sites i don't get a directory listing - it just happens in sub-directories. the log file says: "no matches - goobye", but there are DEFINITELY files in that sub-directory. any clue?
Re: FTP listing
Open in main-menu 'Net' and toggle the 'FTP-show hidden files'.marino wrote:i got a strange behaviour of the ftp client: in some ftp-sites i don't get a directory listing - it just happens in sub-directories. the log file says: "no matches - goobye", but there are DEFINITELY files in that sub-directory. any clue?
If files are hidden you can't see them without this setting.
Otherwise on some (Netware?) server you can't see any files if this option is set.

To show hidden files on the PPC ftp client is a bit tricky. You need to use the built-in registry editor to go to:
HKCU\Software\Ghisler\ftp\servers\<servername>
with <servername> the name of the configured server. There, create a new string value (not DWORD!) with name "showhidden" and content 1 .
This will send the command LIST -la instead of just LIST to the ftp server, to also list files starting with a dot like .htaccess .

Could that directory be a symbolic link? These aren't currently supported, but will be supported in the next version 2.5.
