BUG: TC exits on "specially" crafted URL
I was using shareware version 6.53 when I found this issue, so I updated to shareware version 6.54a, and it's still present.
Try it yourself:
1. Press Control+N in TC
2. Paste this URL: http://192.18.108.147/ECom/EComTicketServlet/BEGIN51060770A4966CE2DC0BD7178E98B22A/-2147483648/1495716219/1/701150/701102/1495716219/2ts+/westCoastFSEND/jd ... _0-win.exe (Java SE link from the Sun site)
3. Press Enter
4. Press Enter again
5. wait a sec and you will get an "Access Denied" message
6. Press Enter and TC will mysteriously exit.

Not confirmed here too. Windows 2000 SP4 and TC 6.54a.5. wait a sec and you will get an "Access Denied" message
6. Press Enter and TC will mysteriously exit.
I get the error message "Error downloading file!" and TC does not exit, just as in Windows 98.
Could it be that the imcriminated URL redirects to a HTTPS url which requires logon to proceed? Try it in Internet Explorer, and you'll see what I mean.
