Bugs on Total Commander CE

Post by *lhalda »

Hello, I today tried Total Commander 2.0 for Windows Smartphone and I found some big bug.
If I want to set-up ftp connection or edit registry data, pressing of Back key (for delete), it is writing "0". It happens also with green key, but it isn't interesting for me. Thank for any help and for this good program.
P.S. I have the Motorola MPx200 smartphone with wm 2003 (firmware "SUPER_MOTO_2_MPX200(2003).img" - 23 883 400 bytes)
P.P.S. I'm sorry for my pure english

Thanks for your report. Can you please list which dialogs have this problem?

It is doing it in:
Everywhere:
Go to/History panel
In \\\registry\:
Edit Hex value
Edit DWORD value
New value
In \\\ftp\:
Ftp settings
.

And I have a small request. I want to edit Multi-String data as text (it is opening itself as Hex data).
Thanks, Lukáš Halda

Thanks, I will try to add the back button support to these dialogs. Strangely this has to be done manually for each dialog, it's not an automatic function of the operating system...
I want to edit Multi-String data as text
This would be quite complex to add, because these multi-strings can contain line breaks and other special characters.

Thank you. So I will use Total commander as file manager (in that is TC excellent), ftp client (too), and sometimes as registry editor (if I want to edit multi-strings, I'll use PHM Regedit).

How is it solved in PHM Regedit? It's unfortunately not available for my old device.

So each line is a string? That's not a good idea, because line breaks are allowed in multi-strings (in each string separately)...
