[BUG] Left click then right click on a drive button

Post by *Flint »

Click with the left mouse button on a drive button, and without releasing it, press the right mouse button. A context menu appears, and both drive buttons remain pressed (current and clicked). Screenshot:

Confirmed, however only occurs after hovering the mouse over the first (left)clicked drivebutton.

Does not occur on Network Neighborhood as there is no context menu on it.

Fun to play with, but I don't see why it is really a [bug]. It doesn't crash the program and it doesn't lock the computer up. I was able to have all of the drive buttons pressed (except NN) and all I had to do was change the focus from any drive button to get it back to normal.

Is there an adverse affect to the computer somewhere that I'm missing?

Not all bugs must crash computer or lock it. These a critical bugs. Usually, a bug is the behaviour that contradicts to what the program should do, and nothing more.

Hold left mouse button and click right, or other way around - these are rocker gestures.
Though we have something similar for dorag&drop moving.

Got it, but what's the origin of this expression?

I saw that expression in the FF extension I use (AllInOneGestures) and it took me a while to get a clue what that means.

But 'to rock' describes among others a kind of a swinging move (like a rocking horse), and I think that should describe the movement of your fingers when alternately pressing the Mousebuttons.

Look here for more info if you're interested...

Unfortunately this is a known bug of the Delphi VCL (visual component library) when using speed buttons as radio buttons. I haven't found a workaround to this bug yet, sorry.

I'd conisder this a tiny cosmetical glitch anyway, so I see no urge to fix it.
