Without having tested with TC2, I can say that this bug report for file attributes is not true for files in my main memory, but is true for files on my SD card. I'm not sure if I should be able to change the readonly, system and hidden attributes on the card at all? I can delete files with no problems.
My device's an Asus A600 ppc2002 (CE3.0) w/ .NET CF 1.0 SP3. pTC 2.5b2 ofcourse.

@AlleyKat
You are right, attributes of files in the main memory can be changed.
I have a look on the switch of the SD Card. The switch is not set to "Lock".
After setting the switch to "Lock", there no difference by the change fileattributes dialogue.
Deleteting a file is not done, because of the setting of the switch.
May be that in the dialogue to change the attributes of files, there is a check of the switch not correct.
