Symbian OS

Post by *schulzkeil »

Are there any plans to develop a version of TC for Symbian OS? I use Nokia smartphones and it would be nice to have TC work on them.

Mal angenommen, du drückst Strg+F, wählst die FTP-Verbindung (mit gespeichertem Passwort), klickst aber nicht auf Verbinden, sondern fällst tot um.

I'm sorry but there aren't any such plans.

The PocketPC version was already a lot of work (complete rewrite, different programming language), but not too difficult because it has the same or similar windows functions as the PC. But a Symbian version would be completely different.

There is a Symbian Commander available here:

but I have no idea how good it is.

Thanks.

The Symbian commander isn't worth the money.

Since it is only $10, that remark says a lot about how bad it is. I sure wanted to use it and bought it for my Nokia 6620 but it crashes too frequently.
