above is fixed a while back, but i stumbled upon others that still are displayed wrongly.

example:
http://userbase.kde.org/index.php?title=&blahblah
http://nzbindex.nl/search/?q=&age=&max=250&minage=&sort=agedesc&minsize=&maxsize=&dq=&nfo=&hidespam=0&hidespam=1&more=1

as soon as a "&" followes the "=" synwrite stops highliting here.

apart from that: i'm very happy, incredible progress in development!

Alextp,

Earlier I was using Syn2 within the directory of Universal Viewer. I believe somewhere in in UV plugins settings there was a DETECT string which forced Syn2 to only open the files by mask.

Because you update your Syn2 program often, I decided to install it as a lister plugin into WLX dir and noticed that the DETECT string is gone. Now I believe Syn2 detects which files should be opened by file content. I still however use Syn2 in UV as a plugin.

I would still like to have certain files to be opened and viewed by UV and not by Syn2.
Is there option in Syn2 where I can add a restriction by extension or perhaps there is another way?

Thank you.

Opt in TCmd: wincmd.ini file, [Listerplugins] section, line

N_detect=EXT="INI" | EXT="CFG"

Opt in UV "Configure Plugins" dialog: "Detect-string" field, line

ext:ini,cfg,bat

Alextp,

But wouldn't that make Syn2 only open ini, cfg, bat files while letting UV handle everything else?
I would like Syn2 to open all files it supports except one or two extensions that I can specify. That's why I was asking about exclusion option in Syn2.
Is it possible to see the list of all extension Syn2 can open?

Alex thank you for your help.

Would it possible to open a certain extension, for example diz, in UV (text mode) via F3 and then edit it in Syn2 via plugins mode.

In UV when detect string is set to ext:ini, cfg, bat. For diz extension UV will start in text mode which is good but if I would like to edit the file via Syn2 by calling plugins, Syn2 will not load the extension.
However, if I set in UV detect string the following line: ext:ini, cfg, bat, diz then Syn2 will always pick up this extension.

Hi Alextp,

I'm using the latest SynWrite Syn2.wlx (of 29-01-2013) and all of a sudden I get errors after using search in a text file and closing the file:
1) Exception in plugin: Unable to write to %COMMANDER_PATH%\Settings\%COMPUTERNAME%-History.ini
2) Exception in plugin: Access violation at address 03A416AE in module Syn2.wlx. Read of address 00000004.

Could you investigate this? If needed I can provide additional settings files etc.

Regards, EricB
