Before I do that I want to make sure I am understanding this right. The "Show Navigation Panel" is the setting we are talking about, right? That will be the only thing not included in the free version. Everything else will be exactly the same?

I have no problem paying for it if I am gonna use it is all I was saying. It wasn't meant as a slight to you in any way, sir, I hope you know that.

The issue about viewer.exe FolderName is still not solved.

Try the following:
1. Make a directory c:\test
2. Put some files in c:\test
3. Go to the root of c: or to some other drive.
4. Use version 4.0.0 pro of UV: execute path-to-uv4\viewer.exe c:\test\
5. If the Navigator is already enabled, notice how it starts in c:\test.
6. If the Navigator is not enabled, press F4 and notice how it starts in c:\test.
This is the expected behaviour.

Now:
7. Use version 4.2.0 of UV: execute path-to-uv42\viewer.exe c:\test\
8. If the Navigator is already enabled, notice how it starts in c:\test.
9. If the Navigator is NOT enabled, press F4 and notice how it does NOT start in c:\test but starts in \\Desktop.
This is the bug!

9. If the Navigator is NOT enabled, press F4 and notice how it does NOT start in c:\test but starts in \\Desktop.
Confirm that this is fixed in UV 4.2.2 :-)

May I suggest that these options are disabled in the File menu if nav.exe is not functioning (registered) or at least when nav.exe is not present:

"Rename..."
"Copy to folder..."
"Move to folder..."
"Send by email..."

2petermad,

I thought those options were going to be a part of the free version now. I was told the Navigator was the only difference between the paid and free versions.

No, I don't want to delete it, but unregistered persons might.

Maybe idea to Ghisler: disable run as admin, if tcadmin.exe is missed.

2Alextp,

So you added them to the free version and took them out already?
