Simple & forgotten (?)

Hello !
- A long while later, I've a very simple idea, which could do the trick:
- In Web browsers - let's say Maxthon-interface or whatever, you can display the window as "full-screen" (F11).
In that case, the Win title bar is hidden…
- Why not a similar simple (?) feature in TC ? In example, an instruction in <wincmd.ini> like :
V G
Claude
Clo

Code: Select all
WholeFullScreen=
0, shows the title-bar normally (default).
1, enlarge the window as whole full-screen (like Web browsers) hiding the title-bar.
- Note : works with a registered copy ONLY !

I don't think Ghisler will do it: to hide window caption for program,Clo wrote:In that case, the Win title bar is hidden…

you need some strange Win-API code, not just set properties for window Form..
And - maybe better not to hide window caption, but to have option
WindowCaption="Total Commander %VER% - %USER%"
-you may change it to short "TC".

[Edit] +Vars %FOLDER%, %INSTANCE%, if I want to set
"{%FOLDER%} - TotalCmd [%INSTANCE%]"
Regards,
Try TotalCamper
It can show different information in the caption

LOL does anyone think that having a name other than your own will stop people using cracked versions!!!
People use so many names when they are on the internet for instance with all their accounts, no one would think anything of them having another name on one of their progs. Hell my name when I log on my computer is not my real name, I rarely use my real name for anything.

What you dont see is what you get!

Well, not at home, but you would certainly get strange questions if you did that at work...

It's easy enough to remove if one wishes to, Personally I'd like an internal solution that allows the title bar to be akin to:
[TC]: C:\Program Files\TotalCMD\
i.e show the Active Panel's Active Tab's Path:: The current active Path. or in the case of a minimized TC -- the last active Path.
With a further GUI-Config option to set it to either:
1) Full Path
2) Current Dir only --> [TC]: \TotalCMD
