Currently no. External tool needed for this, e.g. some Windows exe console program (decoder).

Ok, no problem. I try to find one...

Today I find a bug in SynWrite: if I want to save a file with mixed line endings Syn gave me an error "Disk full". I have a file with win line ending (CR+LF) with some lines that have only LF. Eg. of one file is here:

Either u have not write rights for disk, or disk is full.Can't see err here, all saved ok

Try "Save as" to OTHER folder.

If I save as all is ok, but if I insert eg a newline and save the file with click on the disk icon... disk full...

This has all ends, seems, as LF. I added some lines at end or begin. Saved ok

Ok, I've tried also on work pc, with winxp, tc8.01x32 and Syn b640 (also if in help/about say 5.6.602).

- open the strings_test_e2.xml and:
- "Save as" strings_test_e22.xml => OK
- add a newline at the beginning, save with click on disk icon => OK
- close syn2
- open the strings_test_e22.xml, add a newline at the beginning, save with click on disk icon => KO, disk full

Still can't see. Last beta shows "5.6.650" in about.

Have installed the latest beta (shows "5.6.650" in about) and have the same error. After that the file is protected and can not rename/delete it, only if close TC. Also find that with only open the file and click ctrl+s see the error...

When trying to sort the columns in this code

Code: Select all

x = "2, 1, 3"
y = "b, a, c"

by selecting the first column

Code: Select all

2, 
b,

(including the commas and spaces after them)

and dragging it just before the 3rd column in the first row (symbol '3'), the result is

Code: Select all

x = "1, 3"b, 
y = "a, c"

or the crash of the SynWrite.

Note: COPYING it (with holding the Ctrl key) is OK.

I see. ll try fixin it. "Crash" is not crash, you can press Continue.

I admire you for the persistent and frequent improvements of your excellent editor; I am looking forward, downloading every new version and trying every new feature - a lot of them are very useful for me.

about that error- didn't fix yet, but anyway, bug exists when dragging block to the same line. Workaround is: cut block, then paste it.

Is it possible to increase font size in SynWrite or Syn2 respectively?
EDIT: OK, found it. In 64-bit mode settings window is different and increasing font size works.
