Ah, I didn't know that UV use IE. I assumed it would use its own HTML engine.

I like Universal Viewer Free but I do not like its installer as it requires four annoying clicks to not install Babylon. Wouldn't it be better to make Bayblon opt in instead?

Is this a new feature or did I screw up?
I have uninstalled and rebooted and installed the free version, but I keep getting the "Sorry but you 15 day trail has expired message"
Been a long time user, but this message just started popping up.
Any way to get rid of it?

Make sure you installed Free, not Pro. Free can show it only when you call NavPanel addon (It shareware). W/o NavPanel - no such msg.

About says its free 6.6.6.2
How do I tell about NavPanel? I don't remember installing it and its not one of the two plugins listed.

I have the same problem as Dellji.
Installed the free version from the Zip file and now it displays the trial expired message. Version shown is 5.5.6.2

U must *uncheck* opt "Show Navigation panel" in First page of opt dlg.
It calls NavPanel

It calls NavPanel
Its unchecked, but that doesnt help if plugins are invoked.
It only works for files showed by the Viewer itself, but i want to view office files using the ulister plugin.

U can disable "Trial expired" msg by deleting Nav.exe file. (Near Viewer.exe).

No, then it complains about missing nav.exe followed by the info that this add-on is required to view office files.

Hm. It is required to view DOC/XLS files. (But uLister plugin, with high precedence in options, will work around- u can use any plugins w/o NavPanel).
