hi SCHMaster, there are some bugs and feature reaquests from me:
1) I have modified the file english.lng as follows
269=Search &for:
to use the shortcut Alt+F in the Search and Replace dialog, but there is no reaction on this shortcut. The same with the second combobox. However I can change with shortcuts the states of checkboxes on this dialog.
2) If you activate 'Selected text' on this dialog and press Ok, then the first occurrence of the searched text is selected and a question msgbox popups allowing to cancel and 'Yes to all'. I find this msgbox unnecessary, until you activate the buttons 'Yes' and 'No' on the msgbox, so the user can decide by every occurrence inside the selection. And the plugin shouldn't search further outside of the text selection if the option 'Selected text' is activated.
3) I'd wish that the buttons on this msgbox would look like &Yes, &No, &Cancel and Yes to &all. I like to do the whole work only with keyboard and that would be usefull for me.
4) If the search and replace is completed then a msgbox appears with text in format 'Text "%s" not found', even in the case when searched text was found and replaced. I would suggest to show either the number of made replacements in a msgbox like metapad does it or better like MSVS - in the status bar. And there is a buggy text appearing on the Ok-msgbox when you press Cancel on the msgbox with 4 buttons.
5) If I've edited the text and press Esc then a confirmation msgbox popups with 3 buttons, but when I press Alt+F4 or click on the cross in the corner then the same msgbox contains only 2 buttons. I suggest to make it uniformly.
6) I don't know whether you were already asked about it, but could you please implement the cyclic search in synplus? Without any annoying msgbox'es appearing on the end of scope.
7) There is a very usefull thing I am missing in synplus is the possibility to search a word around the text with Ctrl+F3 like many text editors it do. I mean the default behaviour for this shortcut like in metapad or msvs.
8) Why is the checkbox 'Find word on cursor' greyed out if I start the dialog 'Search and Replace' without to select any text? And if I select some text then the current behaviour for this checkbox is 'Find selected text' not 'word on cursor'.
9) If I copy my wincmd directory to my usb stick or a network drive I can't bring synplus to use his own directory for his ini-files, instead of it it chooses the Option 'User profile directory' and moves automatically the ini-files to the user profile dir. In both cases that I mentioned above it is an absolutelly unacceptable behaviour. I can't choose any other option on this tab. What is the reason for this? The write-permission is there. And I suggest that you create the folder SynPlusSett not directly under %UserProfile%, but in %AppData%.
I can't imagine my work without synplus, so thank you for permanent impoving of it :)

About incorrect replace-dialog working I known. Since time this bug(s) will is corrected.
9) If I copy my wincmd directory....
Hm... Much many users wanted exactly - a possibility of keeping settings in %UserProfile% dir.
And have a possibility to use SynPlus with CD-Rom and other removable carriers. Exactly for this reason SynPlus checking the carrier. If SynPlus is started with not HDD, writing settings in SynPlus-dir prohibited. And, depending on OS, all settings are saved in directory of the current user. That here untrue?

I have placed an installation of TC in a shared folder to access it from every computer in a company network. The sense is to have a configured TC at one place with all configuration files. Yet, if I use synplus at one computer then its conf files are removed to the user folder on this computer and when I use it then on another computer the ini-file isn't there anymore and I have an unconfigured synplus and that is bad.
I suggest you check whether you can write to the synplus folder, if not then then the plugin should work with the user dir.
And there is an another problem (don't know whether it still present in the new version). If the plugin cannot write to the cfg folder then it brings TC to crash.
p.s. I hope I haven't written to much in my previous posting and that some of the points land in your todo-list :)
1. : Why does SynPlus delete _all_ tabs at the beginning
of the line when I hit backspace? I remember that a few
secs ago, it deleted only one tab .. what setting changes
that ???
2. : Could you please implement a feature like 'Trim tabs
at end of the line' (SynPlus deletes only spaces, thats
annoying if you use the auto indent feature and skip lines
-> these lines are filled with tabs altough there's no visible
char)?
Thanks for that great Plugin !
Would it be possible for you to put your addon into the
CompareFilesByContent (File comparison) -function of Total Commander ?
Maybe with a right click or a button.
PLEASE...

I have a problem with memory.
If I view big files (> 10 MB) on exit memory was not released completely, so after a number of views I have to exit from TC to get all memory.
My OS is WinXP Home.
